Ernest Johnson, MD, FACS

Dr. Ernest E. Johnson is the senior member of Sacramento Ear, Nose and Throat. He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska School of Medicine, Temple University internship in Philadelphia and the University of Iowa residency in Otolaryngology and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a recipient of the Outstanding Research Residency Award from the American Academy of Otolaryngology and has several published articles. He is board certified in Otolaryngology and is a qualified medical examiner, Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Facial Plastic Surgery, and American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. He is the past Chairman of Otolaryngology and Chief of Staff at the Sacramento Medical Center and Associate Clinical Professor at the University of California Davis School of Medicine, Chief of Surgery and Otolaryngology at Sutter Hospitals, and is active in community affairs in Sacramento. Chief interests are allergy, rhinology, head and neck surgery, and general ear, nose and throat.
