Kevin McKennan, MD

Dr. Kevin McKennan was raised in Albany, New York. He graduated from the University of Rochester with a degree in biology in 1974. He graduated from Albany Medical College in 1978. He completed a residency in Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery at the University of California at Davis in 1985. He completed a one-year fellowship in otology, neurotology, and skull base surgery in 1986 at the Otology Group in Nashville, Tennessee. Since 1986, Dr. McKennan has practiced otology and neurotology at Sacramento Ear, Nose and Throat Surgical and Medical Group, Inc. He resides in Sacramento with his wife Janice, and their 3 children, Sarah, Lauren, and Philip.

Dr. McKennan has published many articles and lectured throughout the United States and Europe on various otologic and neurotologic subjects, including acoustic neuromas, Meniere’s disease, cholesteatoma, chronic otitis media, cochlear implantation, and skull base surgery. Dr. McKennan’s practice is limited to subspecialties of otology, neurotology, and skull base surgery.
